Rosewood’s approach to psychological support for pain management is deeply compassionate and thoughtfully personalised, recognising that living with ongoing pain can feel exhausting, disheartening, and at times overwhelming. Each client is met with genuine warmth and care, and their unique experience is gently understood so that support feels truly attuned and meaningful.

Your Support
Within a calm, safe, and non-judgemental space, therapy at Rosewood draws sensitively from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), carefully adapting each approach to suit the individual. Clients are supported, at their own pace, to understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and pain, while developing gentle, practical ways of responding with greater awareness, flexibility, and self-kindness. There is a strong emphasis on softening self-criticism, building resilience, and reconnecting with what truly matters.
Over time, this work helps clients to feel less defined by pain, more in control of their lives, and increasingly able to look ahead with a renewed sense of possibility and hope.
